General Information
The Diploma of Business is a one-year full time course, or part time equivalent, and normally consists of the first two semesters of the Bachelor of Business. It provides the basis for early entry into employment.
The Diploma of Business is available on both a full time and part time basis and requires 80 credit points (normally 10 credit points per unit) for completion. The maximum time allowed for completion of the Diploma of Business is 4 years. Extensions beyond this time may be approved by the Dean in extenuating circumstances.
Students who successfully complete the Diploma of Business may articulate into the Associate Degree in Business or the Bachelor of Business. Alternatively, students who are enrolled in the Associate Degree in Business or the Bachelor of Business may exit with the Diploma of Business, subject to the completion of course requirements.
