General Information
The Bachelor of Education (Primary): Stream A - General Primary course is a four-year full time course, or part time equivalent, which provides initial teacher education for people who wish to work in primary (Year 1-7) and early years (Prep to Year 3) school classroom settings. The course is available via on-campus study only.
The successful completion of this course leads to provisional registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
This course consist of four strands: Christian Studies, Education Studies, Discipline Studies (including Discipline Content and Curriculum and Pedagogy) and Professional Experiences. Students must also fulfill other requirements including Student Teacher Embedded Practice (STEP), Professional and Community Experiences (PACE) and Senior First Aid, CPR and Lifesaving certification.
Course Accreditations
